June 2015

Welcome to my photoblog on:
Howell Woods Environmental Learning Center

My name is James and I have just graduated from South Johnston High School!

I love the outdoors and I plan to attend Campbell University and major in Biology starting in the fall. I am hoping to go on to pursue a career in environmental science. I am going to be graduating soon. High school has absolutely flown by and my work for Howell Woods has given me many fond memories to keep for years to come. I will continue my service to Howell Woods and the rest of the community over the summer and as I become a student at Campbell later this year.

June 2015

This month's post encircles our waterways and the organisms that call them home.  Without water, there is no life.  Without blue, there is no green.  Please help keep our water clean.

I have put together a video for you all about the life in our waterways.  Enjoy!

All of our water eventually flows out to sea.  The waterways of the Earth are all connected.

Please keep our waters clean.  Make the most of the water we have and conserve.  Litter isn't natural, so let's keep it out of nature.  We won't seem thirsty until the well runs dry.
Your efforts make a difference!
